" AND YOU THINK I'M KINDA BEAUTIFUL"

Journal Entry: Fri Nov 20, 2009, 10:41 AM
NEW MOON TRIUMPHS IN A WAY THAT TWILIGHT NEVER EVEN ASPIRED TO!!! It was so much more more true to the feeling of the book than the twilight film was. It had all the fear, sorrow, hope, humor, love, and nail biting suspense of the book. They took a few liberties but they really worked for the film and helped fill in the spaces where it was mostly in bella's mind. Rob Pattinson finally proved to me he deserved the part, which was hard because he didn't have near as much screen time in this film of course. He just captured the character better. Taylor Lautner captured the change in Jacob perfectly, wonderfully vulnerable. Kristen Stewart pulls off that intense pain rather well, makes me wonder what she has been through. The supporting cast was just as lovable as in the book, and can I say I am so glad they actually gave Alice the time she deserved in this film *kudos to ashley greene*! Jackson Rathbone is my hero for not making Jasper hatable in his moment of weakness. My only qualm about this film? Jaspers hair lacked the badassness of the first film AND I don't like the guy playing Sam. He is not imposing enough.

Anyway I pronounce it FANTABULOUS and can't wait to see it again!

Oh, I saw a twilight/ new moon double feature with my bf and it was really fun, I hope I have the chance to do theatre marathons with each new film.

On another note, just finished rereading Eragon and am starting on Eldest. Forgot how much I loved the Inheritence Cycle.

Probably a plethora of Twilight Saga and Inheritance Cycle fanart coming soon lol

Well I guess in a nutshell I am a nerd. I love broadway musicals, classic literature, scifi/fantasy (I even know it should be called speculative fiction), and lots of other things of course. My biggest goal in life is to write a novel and get it published. I am currently working towards an English Education degree and will be teaching Jr.High/Highschool literature and english. I am very enthusiastic and polite so friend me and gain a true admirer!

I really love Descartes but I realate more to Kant. I think I am a bit of an idealist though of course I get existentialist angst like most of the world. Ha.
